In Spain, as Catholicism is the predominant religion, there are many Catholic Churches in Barcelona to choose from in which to host your stunning catholic wedding. The good news is that you do not need to be Spanish residents to celebrate a Catholic wedding in Spain. However, it is necessary that one of you are of the Catholic faith.

Crystal Events will work with you and will guide you through the paperwork filing process to ensure that there are no delays or setbacks in the paperwork filing. Please note, this process can take at least 6 months.
In addition, we can organize a local priest who can officiate the ceremony in English/French/Spanish/Catalan. If you wish to bring your own priest, we will discuss with them the paperwork required and help them with any queries they may have.
Depending on your country of residency and/or citizenship, the religious ceremony is valid, as though it were a civil ceremony. There is no need to be legally married in your country, since, in the majority of countries, a Catholic ceremony is legally binding. Once the paperwork has been filed with the Church and you have celebrated your religious ceremony, you will be legally married.
