Each year Barcelona Bridal Week is hosted in Barcelona, Spain debuting the top designers, trends, and dresses. In case you´re unable to attend we have compiled Spain´s top wedding gown names to keep in mind when looking for your perfect dress.

Pronovias is a huge wedding gown empire that started as a small shop in Barcelona in 1922. In 1964 they released their first collection and spread internationally in the 1980s. It is currently a team of about seventy designers who all create dresses and accessories for the company. Because it contains so much diversity it can appeal to brides of all types, making it a leading bridal shop in Spain and internationally, as it is currently operating in 105 countries. St Patrick and La Sposa are major brand lines of Pronovias. Overall, their mission statement is “For the future, Pronovias has an ambitious expansion project whose mission is to dress the dreams of the brides all over the world.”

Another big Spanish name in the bridal industry is Franc Sarabia. He released his own collection in 1993, since that point everything has been manufactured in Spain. In 2009 he expanded into the Middle East and America, currently he is present in over thirty countries. He aims for a more modern approach to vintage and aims to give each bride a unique gown that is custom made and hand crafted. Under his name, Manu Álvarez and Francis Montesinos also design gorgeous wedding gowns. Together, they have upheld a striking reputation amongst brides.

Since her entrance into the bridal industry in 1994 Rosa Clara has maintained a remarkable prestige. The company aims to bring together well known designers in order to craft very fashionable pieces that can appeal worldwide. Rosa Clara was first inspired by style and fashion and has continuously demonstrated that through her high quality collections. Over the years she has received many awards including 2013´s Best Bridal Designer of the Year award at Miami Fashion Week. Presently, Rosa Clara remains a major force in the bridal business as she manages corporate offices in Barcelona, New Jersey, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil.

Last but certainly not least, Jesus Peiro is another designer to look into. His merchandise is entirely made in Spain. In fact the only store he upholds is located in Barcelona, otherwise everything else is franchised. Currently his designs are present in over 120 countries. His collection is always well accessorized and detailed; his gowns are meant to appeal to a modern, minimalist, classic bride.
